The Cederberg has unrivalled natural beauty, making it an endless playground for outdoor enthusiasts. This is your chance to explore Africa’s inhospitable natural terrain and the hospitality of its people.
The Cederberg municipal area comprises several towns and rural settlements that are serviced by the municipality. These towns include Citrusdal, Clanwilliam, Elandsbaai, Graafwater, Lamberts Bay, Leipoldtville, Paleisheuwel and Wupperthal.
Named after the now rare cedar trees, the gorgeous region includes the spectacular Cederberg Mountains and stretches over 7 300km2. From amazingly clear mountain rock pools to incredible Bushman art, the Cederberg has something for everyone, making it the ideal place to live, work and play.
